Good Bye

A single tear streaks down my cheek

As he kisses me good bye ever so sweet

I never thought this would happen to me

But I thought wrong as you can see

Saying good bye isn't as easy at it seems

Our love breaking apart at the seams

Now You and I shall say good bye

Our lives popped as if we were in a bubble

But really our relationship had some trouble

But we can still be friends, or so he says

One week from now we wont even nod our heads

One month from now we won't rememeber eachothers names

Two months from now we won't even recall what we once had

Is this how life is going to be

If so why didn't anyone tell me

But now I know

I had to figure it out on my own

Good bye to you good bye to me

What does this single tear mean

Did I like you more than I want to believe

Is this good bye forever

Or only a little bit

But thats why we cry

For when we say good bye
